Dr Marcato removed the mercury from my teeth, he did not use the proper protocol. His assistant stuck the vacuum from removing the toxic mercury from the tooth part back into my gums for the suction. In addition my teeth are cracked about 10 of them. he did not use a clamp around my tooth or cared about the longevity of my teeth and the vapors that are toxic. He had a fan blowing in my face with the toxins while they had masks on, do not I repeat do not go to the dentist!!!!

I unfortunately cannot recommend Natural Smiles of Orlando (Dr. Mercado’s office). In 2024, I purchased a $300 "no-insurance" membership for my son, an Army veteran, which was described as including two cleanings and an X-ray. No itemized invoice or written details were provided, it was just added to the account. During my son's first cleaning appointment, the receptionist claimed he couldn't use the plan. Staff insisted he needed a deep cleaning requiring two additional appointments, quoting $1,400 and invalidating the original plan. We proceeded, assuming the $300 plan would still cover basic preventive care later, as no expiration was mentioned. However, when my son tried to make an appointment in 2026, the office stated the plan had "expired" and was valid for one year from time of purchase and would no longer be honored, despite my payment in 2024 for that specific benefit and the lack of prior notice about expiration. This feels like a deceptive practice. Furthermore, my husband, also a patient, was told he needed a tooth removed. A second opinion from an oral surgeon revealed this was unnecessary. We’ve had this dentist about five years. He listens and recommends appropriate services. Never any issues with billing. Only one issue with scheduling in the four years we’ve been there and staff was changing at that time. Office is always clean and staff are super friendly. I would absolutely recommend this dentist. I am disappointed that I have to change providers but hopefully we find someone just as good.

I had to get a same-week emergency wisdom tooth extraction at Natural Smiles of Orlando because it was causing an infection, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, friendly, and professional. The check-in process was seamless I used a tablet to input my information digitally, which was efficient and modern. Dr. Jorge Mercado (D.M.D.) is exactly the kind of dentist you want when you're in pain. He was able to fit me into his schedule quickly and immediately put me at ease. Before administering the local anesthetic, we struck up a genuine conversation about seafood boils (one of my favorite topics, being from Louisiana) and how much he loves them. We also chatted about basketball and his favorite teams. That personal connection gave me immense comfort right before he numbed my gums. He was calm, conversational, and made what could’ve been a nerve-racking process feel much more relaxed. From the first moment speaking with them on the phone, the staff at Natural Smiles of Orlando was so friendly. They were able to get us in quickly since we were trying to beat an insurance change deadline. Dr. Mercado was so nice and took the time to explain things and answer any questions we had. He was great with my boys and it was one of their favorite dental visits. I appreciate that more natural approach this office takes (no fluoride, low radiation x-rays). We will definitely be back with the whole family as soon as we get settled.
